Kangaroos is a registered disability charity based in Mid Sussex providing a range of fun, inclusive social and leisure activities in our local community all year round for children and young adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. We enable them to have a social life with their peers and give them opportunities to enjoy a wide range of activities, supported by our experienced staff and volunteers.
Every week we run clubs and activities for disabled children aged 6-12, teenagers and young adults. We also have regular play sessions for 0-5’s and days out for all the family
We depend on the generosity of our supporters to enable us to run our clubs and activities. Join our ever increasing band of supporters

Following the Government’s advice issued on 16th March 2020 Guidance on social distancing for everyone in the UK and protecting older people and vulnerable adults concerning Coronavirus we have to inform you that all Kangaroos planned clubs and activities are suspended with immediate effect until further notice.
To date we have not been informed of any confirmed cases within our settings. However the Health and Wellbeing of everyone associated with Kangaroos is our priority and especially given the vulnerable nature of our members we have no option other than to suspend the physical clubs and activities.
With many families now having to self isolate and the suspending of many resources, we are offering a platform for our members, staff and volunteers to support each other, initially through a private Facebook group. Information on how to access this has been sent to all concerned.
We are currently looking at other ways that we can interact with our Kangaroos family, and will be in touch with you all directly as and when we launch new support services.
