Chief Executive Officer
Emma Hunt
Emma leads the strategic direction and development of Kangaroos. She is currently overseeing the development of a permanent Kangaroos Hub and works closely with our Board of Trustees.
Grants & Contracts Manager
Jenni Herrett
Jenni is one of the founders of the charity and is responsible for generating income primarily from Trusts, Foundations and Local Authorities and maintaining effective relationships with them.
Head of Service
Lorna Chamberlin
Lorna is our safeguarding lead, and oversees all service delivery and quality, ensuring programmes meet the needs of our members and families to a high standard.
Head of Administration and Operations
Katie Bartholomew
Katie is responsible for operational effectiveness, to support the service function, as well as overseeing HR, internal systems, processes and frameworks.
Adult and Teenagers Service Lead
Yulia Geydeko
Yulia is responsible for programme planning and managing the Delivery Managers and Sessional Workers within No Limits, Breakaway, and Rockets.
Child and Family Support Service Lead
Becky Coles
Becky leads programme planning and delivers engaging activities across the PALS and Family Support programme. This includes Family Days, Parent/Carer Coffee Mornings, Early Years Sessions, and Sibling Support.
Development Manager
Katy Robinson
Katy manages partnerships across a range of sectors to develop and grow income for Kangaroos, including businesses, community organisations, and events.
Finance and HR Co-ordinator
Clare Beard
Clare manages payroll and member payments, and supports the Finance Director with queries and year-end processes. She also leads on the HRIS system for onboarding and training staff, sessional workers, and volunteers.
Programme Support and Volunteer Co-ordinator
Denise Tester
Denise manages volunteer recruitment and engagement, and supports the administration of services, including member session bookings, cancellations, and activity bookings.
Sessional Workers
Our sessional workers attend our activities and ensure the safety and support of members attending sessions. They bring dedication, experience, and knowledge that underpin Kangaroos’ success.
Many also work in local SEN schools or care organisations, bringing valuable expertise in supporting the needs of members.
Complex Care Coordinator
Anja Fletcher
Anja creates and delivers engaging activities and leads the STARS sessions, supporting members through structured and inclusive programme delivery.
Events & Operations Lead
Georgie Hawkes
Georgie supports operational effectiveness across administration, data, systems, and event delivery, helping ensure smooth day-to-day running of services.
Service Coordinator
Henry Weller
Henry attends several sessions throughout the week, as well as supporting the Service Team with administration around members and the programme.
Administrator
Sandy Stiles
Sandy manages and triages the main Kangaroos inbox and supports Clare with HR-related tasks, including chasing training, maintaining staff records, and assisting with ad hoc projects as needed.
