How you can support Kangaroos at the Mid Sussex Marathon

Kangaroos are thrilled to be the event’s charity partner for 2023.
If you haven’t heard about the Mid Sussex Marathon, let us catch you up.
The MSM is made up of 3 races over 3 days in 3 Mid Sussex towns.
Race 1 - 29th April - East Grinstead - 10 miles
Race 2 - 30th April - Haywards Heath - 10 miles
Race 3 - 1st May - Burgess Hill - 10k
Runners can take part in 1, 2 or all 3 races and will receive a medal for each day they partake. The event aims to bring local people together to celebrate the strength of the community and the beauty of the Mid Sussex area. Find out more here
As this year’s charity partner, Kangaroos is looking to our supporters to help us facilitate the event and raise money for our cause. From volunteering as a marshal, taking part in the fun race or running the whole thing, here are all the ways that you can get involved and support Kangaroos.
Join the Superhero Fun ‘Run’
Haywards Heath, 30th April, 9:30am
On Sunday 30th April, Kangaroos is taking over the MSM fun run at Victoria Park in Haywards Heath.
This year's theme…SUPERHEROES! We would love to see as many children and adults as possible donning a hero mask, cape or full-blown fancy dress to run 100m, and raise money for Kangaroos by getting sponsored by family and friends.
You can get sponsored by downloading our sponsorship form, or by setting up a JustGiving that is linked to our profile via the buttons to the right.
The race will take place on flat grass and will be accessible for buggies and power wheelchairs.
Runners can head to the Kangaroos stall for superhero activities before and after the run. Every participant in the fun run receives a medal.

We would like to encourage anyone entering the Mid Sussex Marathon to run on behalf of Kangaroos.
Kangaroos supports people with learning disabilities across Mid Sussex but the areas where our services are most vital are East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill. By running this event for Kangaroos, you will enable us to provide unrivalled support and enrichment for people with learning disabilities in your area. Kangaroo runners receive a free water bottle and running vest.
