We pride ourselves on being an established local charity that local community organisations recognise and can trust and above all want to support.
We are very grateful for the support we receive from local communities, which includes schools and colleges, the Rotary and Lions clubs, village and bonfire societies, pub and street communities, as well as various other organisations and clubs that help raise money for us.
Many community organisations run an annual fundraising event in their community and have made Kangaroos their beneficiary charity for a specific event.
Other community groups have selected us as their Charity of the Year and raise funds for us throughout the year through a variety of activities and events. In 2019 we were delighted to have been chosen as the Captains Charity of Haywards Heath Golf Club.
We are delighted to have been chosen by Margaret Belsey, The Chair of Mid Sussex District Council, as charity partner for the next two years.
We have also been selected as charity of the year by The Mayor of Burgess Hill, councillor Anne Eves, and by Ardingly College.
We feel privileged to be working with some great people and organisations in our local community and look forward to collaborating with our new and existing partners to continue to bring colour to the lives of people with learning disabilities.
Our huge thanks go to all of the community organisations that have raised money for us over the past year.
Whatever the size of your contribution we can assure you that it will have a major impact upon the lives of the young people with learning disabilities that we support.
